Natalie Wraight - Principal - RBS Dip TTC, RAD RTS, AISTD Dip BB CB MB NB TB CDE, DDE, IDB 1

Natalie is the Principal/Owner of the Camberley Dance Academy and is one of the most highly qualified teachers not just locally but worldwide. Throughout her training Natalie benefited from the most exceptional teaching calibre in the dance world.   

She started to dance aged 3 at her Mother’s school in Lightwater and furthered her training aged 11 at Elmhurst Ballet School. She was one of only 11 students worldwide to be accepted onto the Royal Ballet School’s prestigious Teacher Training Course and graduated successfully in 1993. During her training she studied RAD Ballet, Cecchetti Ballet, ISTD National, Character, Solos, Repetoire, Music, Classical Spanish, Contemporary, Benesh Notation, Anatomy, Voice Production, Dalcroze Eurythmics, Music, Specialised Pointe Work, Technical Theory and Drama. She assisted teaching at The Royal Ballet School White Lodge (lower school) and the weekly Junior Associates in London at the Upper School. After graduating Natalie furthered her training and gained her teaching qualification in ISTD Modern Theatre Dance and Tap Dance. She also trained and became one of the few qualified teachers in the Spanish Dance Society.

Since teaching she has been to guest teach in Italy, Germany, Portugal, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Kenya and Singapore covering Ballet, Modern, Tap and Spanish dance. Natalie has also taught Flamenco for the Royal Academy of Dance in various regions throughout the country. Originally Natalie came to the Camberley Dance Academy in April 1994 to cover for one term, but enjoyed herself so much she stayed and took over becoming the Principal/Owner in 1997. 
Natalie is a highly qualified and experienced teacher who enjoys teaching the very young through to the senior students, as well as preparing the pupils for their RAD and ISTD examinations and shows at the theatre.

Natalie is widely recognised for her ability to achieve the best possible results from students whilst still retaining a great sense of enjoyment, and has ran the Camberley Dance Academy for 29 years with great success.
